Eventful Day!

Today was our annual visitors day to Eilean Mor MacCormick. My Dad is the guardian of the island and was conducting tours. On the first tour as he approached the cave he slipped. Unfortunately after much to-ing and fro-ing we decided we had to call the coastguard and air amnulance as he couldn't move. This is the helicopter on the island.
They took him to Kilmarnock and we drove down there to see him. He is fine and not in pain but has an operation tomorrow to reattach the muscles in his thigh to his knee. 12 week recovery following this.

So all in all pretty dramatic. To make things worse I got so distracted with everything I didn't put any sun cream on. Unfortunately this has led to mild heatstroke and blistering- ouch! Sure tomorrow will be better!!
