Full Nest....

....If only for a short while. Clare is off today, Samantha had her induction days at her holiday job shifted to next week and Joshua arrived last night.

One full day together and then Joshua is away again tomorrow after an all too brief visit. All Service families, but especially parents, will be familiar with the tug of the heart strings as they arrive home on the doorstep, changing, hardening, gaining confidence, gaining maturity but still remaining your little lad who looks overjoyed to be home.

We ate a BBQ in the garden, all the familiar banter and laughter, that easy going atmosphere amongs a family.

Still hot, not unbearably so but hot enough to require a couple of beers in the evening.
