In the shade!
And it was definitely needed. Very hot, it was less hot where we've been, around mid 20's and frankly I'm glad.
Lovely to spend the day with Eda and Grace and John before returning home from our holiday. She's definitely wanting to move. She can turn around and push herself backwards now.
I gave Eda her lunch where she adopted her now frequent stripped off mode. After she had a play with her new 'whacky' toy from Granny - extra. Think she likes it or is going to be a Portugal supporter.
When Eda went for her nap John made us a BBQ with some lovely salads made by Grace. (John had been on a 9 mile run before doing this!)
Sadly when we arrived back we could see a pall of smoke over the Moor and smell burning. There has been a constant wail of sirens as the fire brigade head to control a fire on Catstones Moor on the edge of our village. One we often walk on.
Thank you for following our holiday, we've had a great time. I really appreciate all your stars and comments especially as I haven't always had time to reciprocate.
