Nervous energy

A full day in the garden in the sun repairing the lean to shed then arranging for trips to the tip then putting things back. Most things now back in place but still stuff to squirrel away.

Our dog exhausted himself. Anything electrical - vacuum cleaners, drill, electric saws - and he want to rush up and grab them. Even putting a plig in a socket can get him going. So whenever this work was going on - and all e were used today - he was kept inside.

When out he is on alert for birds and other dogs. Our neighbours acquired a lovely border terrier - Stan - some months back and our dog is desperate to get over the wall. We hope to play but he does sound rather territorial and aggressive at times. We’ve tried to control his barking which he now tempers to a low level growl. But most of the time he huff and puffs and runs around.

This was him realising he could not get over the wall so he was heading for a new location.

I walked 12 miles today tidying up. I don’t know how many he did but at least at the end of the day he is exhausted!
