Baking Reunion

Today I finally got to bake, even if the cooking facilities are a little basic. We decided to make pear and chocolate cake. After exploring for the supermarket and returning with much more food than we needed, we set to work. Personally, I think the cake was pretty good. Maybe a little lacking in pear.

In the evening we went for drinks with Dom and Hati in a little Irish themed pub, which was about as far away from being Irish as you can imagine. All the same it was nice to catch up on all the happenings of the other English people in my area.
