Too Quiet

Alex took this train this morning at 8.30 so I had the rest of the day to do admin in my, now all too quiet, house. I finally got my french sim card, ordered a phone, did some uni work and best of all attempted to handwash my clothes in the bath. It was, unsurprisingly, not very successful. I also didn't have enough space to dry them and so had to attempt to make a washing line from an extension cable on my balcony, but due to the lack of sunshine, not much drying happened! Never mind...

In the evening I made more soup and caught up on news with Martha and Joanna.
