Preparing for Departure
As this was Alex's last day in Le Puy, we decided to go out for lunch. I ate veal, and it was actually one of the nicest meals I've had in a very long time. The creme brulee for desert was also amazing. Alex had apples poached in Speculoos, so good. The atmosphere in the restaurant was so lovely, and the staff so friendly, that I definitely intend to go back just as soon as I find friends to go with! Afterwards, we did a little shopping, took another trip to another patisserie and came home for packing and generally organising our lives (by that I mean naming all of the countries in the world on Sporcle!)
In the evening we ate baked camembert with fresh bread and redcurrant jelly and more of our cake. Food this week has certainly been excellent. The company not too bad either.
