Ripening barley

It has been a rather manic day with the supervising advisor off sick and others frustrated at not understanding the new systems.  We muddled through but some people were getting hot under the collar!  The day did not improve in the afternoon as I realised the car would have to go into the garage before my departure and two clocks need revisiting.  Time is running out!  Time is also running out perhaps for this government as the Brexit process seems now to be in complete disarray. I went for a walk to clear my head and almost blipped the painted slogan over the lane, "CLEAR UP YOUR DOG S***" with the offending lumps highlighted in red.  Someone else is also getting understandably frustrated!  Perhaps it is the weather.
