Charity....

....one of the "vices & virtues", and the theme for July's MonoMonday; thanks to Si_b for hosting. 
My friend called a few days ago and asked if I would come to the church hall today to help her make 45 sandwiches for bag lunches to be given to some of the homeless people. She'd had people who'd agreed to help, but three of them backed out, so of course I said I would. Here, two of the ladies are opening everything up, and we laid it out in a long assembly line. Made the sandwiches first, then added them to the bags along with fruit, granola bars, chips and cookies. It took less than an hour, as there were three of us. I always think it's good karma to help out when I can, and wouldn't mind doing it again! :))
