This was a quiet day for us — we’re transitioning to having our friend Jane gone back to SoCal. The house feels empty after a friend or friends have gone. So we need to get our schedule back to a routine, get used to being just us, and well, I wonder if any one else goes through these transitioning moments.

We experience the same thing when we go on a vacation and get back home. We often exclaim that we need a vacation to recover from a vacation. Crazy, I know.
