Hooray a slight bit of normality in the chaos

Catherine took me into work (no driving when you have a cast!) to collect the stuff I had to abandon on Thursday...
Because I am on paid sick leave I wasn't able to wait for her in the office I took off to the regular place with the Kindle because I can't crochet!!
It was a good thing - they had a fire drill shortly after I left - I'd have been a real hazard!
My elbow is currently black with bruises from where nurse Julie held it while the doctor straightened my wrist - it shows how good the anaesthetic was - I didn't realise how strong her grip was!!!
