Change of plan ..

We woke up to mist & drizzle and instead of heading for the hills we headed to Gleann Fearnach and the shores of Loch Loch (which we'd previously glimpsed from Ben Vuirich on an earlier excursion.) 

It was a long walk in (just over 8 miles and same distance back)  but made for a grand day out. Something magical about having your pieces 8 miles from nearest 

This ruined shelling stands near the turn off to the loch - think it was probably reserved for summer grazing. 

Now enjoying a glass of white to show my support for England (although I equally could have chosen red I guess ;-) ).
