A day of vaccinations for Nate, coffee with someone here on the island for 6 weeks, cooking for Ricardo, attempting to get the flat ready for guests, trying to start packing, keeping an eye on BBC sport for the football, carrying out tooth fairy duties...

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Bumping into friends out and about.
2) Having a roof over my head and a community around me that would catch us before we ended up on the street.
3) Shade - wow it's hot here.
