This morning we took Salem for a walk at the arboretum. The traffic was so bad it took almost 45 minutes for a usual 10 minute drive. I don't think it was a factor but in the park, a truck had gotten stuck under a low bridge.
Anyway, they were having a plant sale and we got a hydrangea for the garden (a pink variety with frilly edges to the flowers). The plant in the photo was in the park and I think it's a version of hydrangea. I just think it's spectacular.
By the time we left, the traffic had faded away so we had no trouble getting home fortunately.
