Breaden Hills

If you think this looks like Monument Valley, you'd be right! The hills and ramparts stretched for kilometres.

If you look carefully you'll see a brown falcon at the top of the tree.  

We saw many wrecked cars along the way, including the one pictured in Extras. If you break down on the Canning it's a hugely expensive matter, or even impossible, to get your vehicle out. Often it's cheaper to just walk away.

Some of the wells are still functioning, as they've been restored. Others are just holes in the ground, with planks and metal lying around. Well 47 used to pump 1250 gallons an hour, so the Canning Artesian Basin had, and probably still has, great supples. Well 47 is now dry.
