Ballooning in Alice Springs

A friend and I had a very early start, driving out into the wilds from Alice Springs, to go hot-air ballooning. Super fun, and absolute magic seeing the country come to life as the sun rose. Another balloon in the air at the same time helped with a sense of perspective.

There was some drama when we came into land, with the balloon not clearing some shrubs, and the fabric getting caught in branches. Fortunately no-one was hurt! Photo in Extras
