Day 3

A good sleep but still up in time for breakfast - then to the pool and a beer.

The day was spent at the hotel - swimming, sleeping, drinking …… that sort of thing.
I did go out for a short walk down to the waterfront.
What an adventure that was - almost no pavements and lunatic Italian drivers. But I survived!
An excellent evening meal in the hotel, but I am sure that the chef wouldn't have been too happy with the German who demanded salt & pepper before even tasting the food - and complained because his food wasn't on the table within 2 minutes of ordering, even though everything on the menu was made to order.
After the meal we went out to the colour changing pool for a couple of drinks from the bar. It was wonderful and quiet with nobody out there except us and the barman …….. very relaxing.
