Red soldier beetle

Lots of these little guys flying around this evening.  They don't stay still for long.  I chose this photo, despite his having turned his back on me, because I liked the way the rush was catching the evening light.

I've had another day doing needlework stuff.  Back to work tomorrow, for the whole weekend.
