Mottisfont

Today my sis, V, and I went to Mottisfont, a lovely NT property near Romsey.  Pub lunch first at The Bear & Ragged Staff, then a wander in Mottisfont's grounds and along the river.  Glorious.

This is V with Jax in the rose garden.  The rose garden is one of the things Mottisfont is really famous for (I think it holds the national collection of roses).  Sadly they were rather over.  Equally sadly dogs are not supposed to be in there, but we reckoned if Jax was carried that wouldn't break the spirit of the rule.

I liked this in colour, but even more in mono as the break up of tones makes it look almost tessellated, like a mosaic.
