Canon Street

Today I decided on something I don't do very often for blip - a walk round a few of Winchester's rather wonderful back streets.  This is Canon Street, a favourite because it is very narrow and no cars can park here!  I love that.  Apart from the lines on the edges of the road, and the tv aerials, this is how it must have looked a hundred years ago.

Apart from that my day's been full of 'stuff', all rather expiring in the stifling heat.  Never mind, I'm not complaining - except that I shall have to water the garden again - grrr!
