Ah well

... had a feeling it might end like this.

Had a good day at work, then scurried home to get some food sorted quickly before Tim's friend David arrived to watch the football with us.  Had a lovely evening catching up with him, while watching the game.  A hopeful start, but an unsurprisingly poor second half, with Croatia winning 2-1 in extra time.  Ah well, it was good while it lasted :)

David stayed until just before 10:30, then set off to catch a train back into London.  Tim and I had a quick tidy up, then went straight to bed for a slightly shorter sleep than usual.
