A couple of funny guys

Yes, I know. A silly title, but the only one I could come up with for this unexpected blip of some fungi. I got to the park rather late this afternoon and only had a good 15 minutes to take a few shots before I had to go to the sanctuary, which closes earlier on Saturdays. I walked the large male Turkish Shepherd dog again so I had to keep looking out for other dogs at all times and couldn't take any photos during the walk. I also couldn't look for something to blip after the walk as I had some shopping to do before going home and even if I'd have had time for it, the light was too poor for it by then anyway.

I call this entry unexpected because I had actually intended to blip a shot of some Holly berries but unfortunately that hadn't turned out as well as I hoped when I looked at it on the computer screen. Hopefully the birds won't have eaten all the berries tomorrow so I can have another attempt on Monday.

Rain was forecast for most of the day if not all of it, but it was dry when I got out of bed today and I didn't see a single drop of rain until after 7 pm so the forecasters obviously got it wrong, which is not all that unusual.
