Newcomer....

....to my bird feeders! What is this pretty bird? I know there are bird blippers who just have to know! :)

Woke up to gorgeous blue skies! Had a stroll around the garden. Filled the feeders. Snapped some photos. I still love the sweet chickadees!! (and, the cool bokeh in this one)

Now??? The skies have darkened and I think we may get a repeat of yesterdays thunderstorm!!! Love these surprise weather patterns. Ooohhh....now the wind is picking up as I write this!! Storms a'brewing

I'm not sure why I feel the need to write this in my journal but here goes....
Findus is a long haired kitty. The past few days she has had a dingleberry. I thought she would take care of it but no. Last night she wanted to cuddle on the couch with me in front of the fire. Uh, no thanks. Time for drastic measures. I wrapped her in a towel, to keep Glenns arms safe, and proceeded to 'help' her with her little problem. She WAS NOT happy and Glenn had to hold her snugger which, of course, she HATED. I finished the task and Glenn set her on the floor. She was a blur as she exited the living room and retreated down the stairs to, I'm sure, lick her 'wounds'. How dare we touch her "there".
Good times had by all

I'm off to take a little swim, shower and head into work
The rains have started
They were coming straight down
Now, coming in at an angle

hoping Red is feeling better
