Friends from afar
It's been a busy but good day today starting with a brilliant Year 6 lesson out in Pontesbury. I'm so glad that our year ends with lots of visits to primary schools as the kids are generally less grumpy and more fun. I used the word 'phenomenon' in the lesson today which was followed by the whole year 6 spontaneously bursting out in 'na na na na na' which I adored!
Food Club this afternoon where we feasted on a delicious squash, sweet potato, lentil and coconut curry. Devoured instantly.
Then onto a celebration with some people from the Diocese and a group of Malaysians who are over at the moment. So good to catch up with some brilliant people who I met over there last year including the outrageously brilliant Archbishop Moon Hing. Also got to hang out with Helina (above) who generously hosted us in our stint in KL. We played croquet (as one does) which I found is greatly hampered by wearing a dress. Must remember that for next time.
