Down with the Old......

But.......  UP With The New......      
The thumbnail is the gerber flower that was blipped, hiding in the leaves.  But alas, the flower is withering!

Now look what has pushed it's way up through all of those leaves seeking to find the sun!   This plant my cousin's wife gave me (2014, I think) continues to absolutely amaze me!  It has survived  airplane rides, the scorching heat, torrential downpours, the freezes in the winter, my traveling neglect, the hurricanes (when they blow in and blow out) and Molly sticking her nose inside looking for the little lizards!  
And it continues to give me beautiful, bright red flowers!
