Bits and Baubles......

The girls and I got out this morning for an early morning walk.  The hurricane has sucked all the moisture (from here, anyway) out of the air as it moves on New Orleans and Louisiana.  But, it has left a tremendous amount of rain here.  I tried taking the girls out to a field so they could run and play in the cool air (78 F) but the ground is squishy and soaked.  We ended up  coming home as they didn't want to run in the puddles.  The girls just stood there and looked at me.
     So......   I pulled out some things from my jewelry box and have spent the morning sketching them.  The girls have slept, peacefully.....
