Angelica sylvestris

I don't remember the angelica being quite this pink whilst developing last year.  But I suppose it must have been.

It's been another really hot day, I'm told, and now our neighbours are having a barbeque.  I love the smell, but have never really got into bothering with the hassle - and now it's definitely not worth it, as W is vegetarian.  We've had visits from both their cats - I think they're trying to get away from the crowds.
