Corbridge

Another grey day.  We had planned to meet friends for a day at the beach, but the weather forecast wasn’t good, so we abandoned their plans.  They were heading to Newcastle, but we didn’t want to do that.  I started my day with a run in the gloom and then we eventually got going and visited Aydon Castle.  It was cold and damp, so we didn’t hang about.

Next stop was Corbridge where we had a lovely warming lunch.  BB declared his lunch was the best of the holiday.  We browsed and made a few purchases in the lovely bookshop, before taking a scenic route home.

TT went for a  run and we then went out for a curry.  Poor BB decided he wasn’t feeling great, and may have been as a result of having a bleeding nose earlier on.  We didn’t linger and got him home to bed.  TT and I then watched Skyfall.
