What struck my fancy

Cargo

It's late, 45 minutes after sunset, poor light and cloudy.
The tide is on the flow nearing high tide, coming from the right and the fishing boats take advantage of it to return to port, speedily, saving on fuel, and needing the depth because when the water is lower there is danger of getting stuck in the mud.

ISO2000 and shutter speed slow at 1/15 second and the boats seemed to be racing so are not sharp (excuses, excuses!). The cargo is shellfish bound for select restaurants in the south and on the continent.

The extra is a photo from last night when we had a superbly high tide, very calm conditions and generally very good for photographs,  at Thornham.
