Playing around with a duff lens. It's a duff lens because it is supposed to be an 18 – 300 mm superzoom, but for some time now it has refused to autofocus beyond 150 mm. I have another superzoom (Tamron) which kind of went the same way, except that refuses to autofocus at all. I had the Tamron repaired, but it broke again within a week. I will learn to use this Sigma as it is for now, as I have no intention of throwing good money after bad.  I won’t be buying any more superzooms. Prime lens from now on. They seem to be more reliable. I only have 3 primes: a 50 mm, a 60 mm macro and my favourite 400 mm. Looking to get a 100 macro prime at some point in the future.
