Maastunnel

Today's excellent weather, blew away the cobwebs in my head and rejuvenated my photo mojo. I bicycled today through the city harbor to Schiedam and back. The only time I was indoor all day, was when I had to cross the Mastunnel.
Masstunnel is the oldest traffic tunnel in the Netherlands, and it connects the two banks of the 'Nieuwe Maas' (New Meuse) river. The actual bicycle tunnel is 585 meters (640 yards) long and the deepest point of the tunnel is 20 meters (66Ft) below the surface.
