Fishing Boat

I started the day with a run – over five hard miles in the sunshine.  It was then home to catch up with some chores.  After lunch we headed to Paxton house, and had a walk by the river to the Chain Bridge, then up the hill to the honey farm for welcome refreshments and amazingly good cakes.  We had a wander around the collection of vintage vehicles and stuff.  My dad was in his element – he knew what everything was.  After a couple of purchases in the shop we had to walk back to Paxton in the heat. 

I was on tea – and thankfully I had planned something that was quick.  While BB was getting showered and ready for bed, I went for an evening stroll with my mum and dad.
