Raining Today

Back home now and experiencing the first rain in weeks and weeks. I had to be in the studio this morning as we had a student for a Lightroom course. This afternoon we should have been doing a bit of last-minute clearing of a trailer we are preparing to sell but it was too damp outside.

In the evening it was the AGM of the Penrith and District Red Squirrel Group. It was an enjoyable evening with good speakers but the overriding subject was the need for more funds to enable the group to continue to pay rangers to keep the greys out of the area. Public funding has dried up, it's up to us now.

This rose in my garden is Always Remember Me. I bought it 7 years ago, ready to blip the day I announced the news that I was going to become a grannie! It rained that day, too!
