Red Squirrel

It was so appropriate that, after being at the local squirrel group meeting last night, we had a red squirrel on the bird table today.

For a few days now we have been setting up The Mate's trail camera to see if we had any night-time visitors. Yes, we have, 2 cats, a hedgehog, a family of 5 jackdaws, usually too timid to come onto the lawn and our squirrel which begins its visits around 6am!

Look at its cute tufts: 2 hairs on one ear and 4 hairs on the other!
