In charge!

Today we held a mini blipmeet at Wentworth Castle Gardens when I was joined by walkingMarg who was on her way home after enjoying a few days in the Peak District. It was very good to meet another very enthusiastic photographer and fellow blipper.
A friend is a volunteer warden. Fortunately today he was on duty so he was able to lead our small party so that we could photograph the deer in the park. These had been moved into the far paddock because it was also Trail Race day at Stainborough which meant there were hundreds of runners and their supporters around. In the end it was a hard decision on whether to blip the deer or the runners. (Unfortunately I couldn't manage both on the same photo.) The weather was beautiful and the company excellent, though I've found my photographs to be a bit on the contrasty side! So many thanks to Merv for being our guide and to Marjorie for her company. It would be great to meet up again sometime.
