Egyptian Geese: The Portrait of a Fledgling
This definitely looks more interesting in large ("L").
It is two weeks to the day since I last blipped a fledgling! *Takes a bow*
I visited Eagle Pond this afternoon, and there were (again) people feeding bread to the fledglings... *Sigh* At least they're now big and safe from "angel wing". I took quite a few pictures of the Egyptian Geese (looking beautiful in the crisp, cold light), and 'though I got more dramatic ones of fledglings flapping, stretching, and trying to look imposing &c., I thought this one was most different from previous blips. I love the unusual glint in its eye!
Their eye patches have come on a long way in the past couple of weeks too!
