Village fountain

The fountain always looks good in summer.  As a 'village fleuri', Vernet has to keep up its reputation and there are hanging baskets and bedding plants everywhere.  Today has been a day of meetings and admin.  There were two meetings which took most of the morning.  The first confirmed the final approval for the bell project and the first payment. The second confirmed the financial support of the Fondation du Patrimoine, roughly the equivalent of English Heritage. Then in the afternoon two sets of minutes had to be typed up and emailed out to the PCC and the Mairie.  I shall take a walk to enjoy the cool of the evening and to relax after all the head work.
