Bee in the City

To Manchester Cathedral at the end of the day - I had a photo selected for an exhibition. Also there, two blippers - Green 56 ( who also had a photo selected, well done her) and Beewriter ( who won last year). Good to see them both - see you both same place next year :)

Also in the Cathedral, a lot of little bees. These are some of the 131 little bees that will be located around Manchester and it’s environs as part of the “Bee in the City” festival, which runs from next week through to October. Apparently 121 schools and groups and 30,000 children have been involved in their creation. They will be joined by 101 big bee sculptures. That’s a lot of bees.

The bee in the blip has been created by the kids at St Phillips RC Primary School.
