This is a bit of an emergency Blip... We seem to have been busy all day with one thing an another and this evening Claire came for a flying visit so we had a takeaway Chinese dinner as a bit of a treat...

The promised 38% likelihood of rain didn't materialise here, things are really parched now. The Sugar Beet crop hasn't grown, the other day the farmer told me that he had booked the first lift for September, at this rate the beet will be no bigger than radishes.
