A Case For Anarchy

This fading sign on a wall in Guelph, Ontario, is a legacy of a previous election, in a different country. But it points to what many who struggled to last week's finale of the marathon US election acknowledge as a universal truth - politicians promise everything to win votes, but forget those promises (and the electorate) the moment the votes are counted. So why bother with the illusion of representative democracy when power rests not with the People but with deep-pocketed, faceless and ravenous multi-national corporations. Time to change the system.
