Field of Dreams

We're living in a time when - we're told - it's possible to achieve anything in life with brains, education and a bit of good, old fashioned luck (money helps, too). Why, who'd have believed a few years back that a black guy would ever be elected president of the good ol' US of A - not once, but twice?

So, there's nothing to stop a scarecrow from becoming a future Grand Prix champion, is there? Even scarecrows can dream; there's not a lot else for them to do all day at this time of the year when their fields have long since been abandoned by any sensible chow-grabbing crow or critter . . .
