2018 Sunday — The Road Home

This photo is Highway #1 coming out of Morro Bay and headed north toward Cayucos, which is where our summer home is located.

We had walked the dogs at Dairy Creek Golf Course — well not on the golf course, but through their parking lot and over to El Chorro Campground and back to the car. It’s a location that’s just far enough from the Morro Bay coast to be in the sunshine and not under the gray moist overcast.

When we returned to Cayucos the sun was not blocked by the clouds. That was delightful.

P.S. Highway #1 thru the Big Sur coastline just north of us reopened this past Thursday after 14 months of being closed due to a landslide, so this week we are driving to the Monterey Bay Area to vacation, sightsee, and play.
