oh, you pretty things ...

I love resonator guitars; their look as well as the sound.  

Despite what Anniemay says  I'm not considering the purchase of a 'shiny' new guitar.  Even if I could play one (which I can't - they're in another league altogether) - they're very expensive.  There's around £25,000 worth in this photo.

I'm looking at these guitars because we took Dan to Stansted this morning and came home via Stevenage Old Town, where there just happens to be a very nice guitar shop.

It seemed churlish not to pick up one.  The one I'm playing in Anniemay's blip is decidedly un-shiny.  A very nice understated matt-finish.  Much like the woman herself.

It was also very nice to play.  I may have to go back.
