Pondering!

I’m pondering!! As an employer it is illegal to discriminate against people - we all know of the protected characteristics but for those unsure - I’ll give you an example, it’s not ok to ask whether they want children or planning on having children. So why is it then that employees / subordinates feel they can ask their manager ie their employer (in my case) that question? Yet do not ask their male CEO that same question who just happens to be married to the person (me in this case) who they asked that question?! The person who asked was male...it would appear as an employer I can’t be discriminated against, I think there’s something wrong here!! its a two way street folks!!
