Sense of Pride

The MonoMonday challenges set for July by si_b are either vices or virtues. Pride is listed as a Vice, and yet the large, corporate company I work for would clearly object to this view, and encourages its staff to take pride in the company we work for.

In particular, who could not be proud of this magnificent Grade II* listed Queen Anne house at the heart of the country estate which houses our influential research and development labs, and offices. This year we celebrate 60 years on the site from the initial purchase of the house and grounds in 1958. The wider estate was purchased in the 1960s.
