Brought Beth back to Burgau.

Went past the café in Puebla de Guzmán, Spain, where Allegra (her goddaughter) took her first steps.

Stopped to show her Tavira, and took the boat over to Ilha de Tavira (two euros return), didn't even have time to get off the boat, but worth it for the ride down the river. Flag was on a water taxi at the jetty there. And a scoop of fig gelato at Delizia da Ponte.

Met her aunt and uncle for a curry at Spice Cottage - possibly the best I've ever had. And then a wander round the tiny town of Burgau, moonlight on the water, and a drink at the Smuggler.
