A sea of yellow.....

......am I right in thinking this is a wattle tree?

My eyes have been bad since Thursday, I put it down to not looking after myself until I walked out the back door this morning and saw this sea of yellow in the neighbours back yard. While out and about today I've noticed more of it everywhere, seems quite prolific this year and perhaps early to.

I know I react to wattle and can only think this is the reason for my sore, itchy eyes and rather runny nose. The neighbours tree is as wide as it is tall, it's huge!

Did you spot the wee silvereye? They were feasting excitedly on the nectar.
