Finn in is element, on a long walk in the hills, along an old drove road near Garve. He was a bit too keen at the start, and had to be reigned-in, with the length of the walk ahead. In the extras there's a montage with a shot of one very weary dog about to have a well deserved snooze.
As well as the hill walk, there was an explore of some of the woodland around the River Blackwater, and the old military road, and the Wade bridge over the river. Lovely area, and a beautiful day. The blaeberries were ripe and in profusion, and very tasty.
Back at home, the small tortoise-shell butterflies were on the hebe caledonia.
