Snake in the grass

With apologies to any ophidiophobics out there but the only photo I took today was this one of a grass snake I spied while walking the dogs before breakfast. I’m much happier seeing these than adders - they’re quite cute.

Still bloody hot and it was even hotter playing badminton this evening, which hopefully burned off a few calories.
