Edinburgh from the Braids

A week off work. I am hoping to get some cycling in, but I have some wallpaper to strip first. So a not very exciting day. Some actuall comes off quite easily. However there is some very stubborn patches that require the steamer. Its a very warm and muggy day, so its like a sauna in the house, despite all the windows and doors are open. As a result I have a short break for coffee in the morning, and a short break for lunch.

At 3pm, I decide enough is enough, and pack everything away. I'll finish the remaining patches tomorrow. As it's later than expected, I go for a walk up the Braid Hills. I take quite a few shots. I think this one of Edinburgh Castle set against the Firth of Forth is the best. 

Head home for coffee. Worn out. Bike ride tomorrow perhaps.
